History
1948 - Department was formed and firehouse built by members. Members to be recognized are: Bob Hoyt, Buster Leach, Keith Delarm, and Byron Monroe.
1949 - Incorporated under Richard J.Bolton. Other important names include Wally Conlon and Gordon Cameron.
1956 - First ambulance, Packard Hearse
1968 - First Silver Bay Association musical benefit performance
1980 - Silver Bay Sub Station built on Route 9
2001 - New firehouse built on West Hague Road
